Are tents and canopies allowed on the beaches or parks?

Tents are prohibited on city beaches, parks, preserves, bluff tops, or open spaces. Sunshades, beach cabanas, or canopies that are no larger than 10 feet by 10 feet in size and that have no more than two walls or 180 degrees of coverage are allowed on the beach or at Seagrove Park or Powerhouse Park. Sunshades or canopies that impair the Lifeguards ability to scan the beach or park may have to be removed.
