Are charcoal barbeques allowed on the beaches and parks?
No, charcoal fuels are no longer allowed on city beaches and parks. As an alternative, visitors are welcome to cook with either barbeques or portable stoves that utilize liquid propane (LP) or similar fuel. Barbeques or cooking stoves that utilize LP are allowed on the beach and at Seagrove and Powerhouse parks only. LP barbeques and stoves shall only be used for cooking purposes and not used as heaters or fire pits.
