How to I appeal my administrative citation?

Per DMMC 1.10.070, you have a right to appeal your Administrative Citation. The DMMC requires that you do so within 15 calendar days of the date of the citation, or forfeit your right to your appeal.

To appeal your Administrative Citation, you must submit a written request, along with payment of the full amount of the fine to,

City of Del Mar
Attn: Code Enforcement Officer
1050 Camino del Mar
Del Mar, CA 92014

This information is also found on the back of your Administrative Citation. Once the Code Enforcement Officer has received your request, they will contact you with an Administrative Hearing date. Failure to meet the 15 calendar day deadline will waive your right to an Administrative Hearing.
