On September 8, 2025, the Council adopted Resolution 2025-32 establishing the Shores Park Master Plan Ad-Hoc Advisory Committee and appointed Mayor Terry Gaasterland and Councilmember John Spelich as liaisons. The City opened a recruitment to fill the vacancies with the application deadline of September 26 (Friday) at 4:30 pm. Interested applicants are encouraged to complete a Citizen Interest Form and e-mail it to cityclerk@delmar.ca.us. The Citizen Interest Form can be found online on the City’s Committee vacancies website.
