Updated City Hall/Town Hall Project Schedule
At the City Council meeting on October 19, 2015, the City Council adopted a revised schedule for the City Hall/Town Hall Project. The purpose of revising the schedule is to provide additional opportunity for the project architect to refine the design, based on recent community feedback. The architect is now scheduled to present their revised design at the November 2, 2015 City Council meeting. If the City Council concurs with the revised design proposal, the project will continue with its entitlement process, including a Citizen’s Participation Program (CPP) meeting and Design Review Board hearing.
Please make note of the updated project schedule:
- November 2, 2015: City Council review of project design
- November 19, 2015: Citizens Participation Program (CPP) meeting (tentatively scheduled for 6:30 p.m.)
- December 16, 2015: Design Review Board Hearing to consider project design
- January 4, 2016: City Council Project Entitlement Hearing and Certification of Final Environmental Impact Report

As a reminder, written comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) are due by October 26, 2015 at 5 p.m. The Draft EIR was released on September 11, 2015 for public review and comment. Written comments can be delivered to 1050 Camino del Mar, Del Mar, CA 92014 or emailed to CityHallCEQA@delmar.ca.us.
