Happy holidays! Extended parking through Jan. 1

For the balance of 2025, we are extending parking limits in downtown Del Mar.

Through 5 p.m. Jan. 1, two-hour parking in the town center and the L’Auberge Del Mar garage will not be enforced.

Parking restrictions will continue to be enforced on all 20-minute spaces and metered spaces on Maiden Lane and Coast Boulevard.

Jan. 5: SB Jimmy Durante Boulevard closure

A one-day closure of southbound Jimmy Durante Boulevard between David Way and Grand Avenue is scheduled for 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, to allow for tree trimming.

The work area is between southbound Camino Del Mar and Jimmy Durante Boulevard near Grand Avenue.

Please plan accordingly.

Motorists are asked to follow traffic control signs and designated detour routes.

Del Mar Community Connections accepts donations of wheelchairs, walkers and other such items for its Medical Equipment Lending Library, where community members can avail themselves of free loans—temporary or permanent.
