DMVA publishes 2024-25 report

Del Mar Village Association, the City's destination marketing partner, has published a report that summarizes its programming, financials and contributions to economic development during the 2024-25 fiscal year.

Rich with photos and graphics, the 56-page report identifies DMVA's many partners. The document explains DMVA's role as a liaison among residents, businesses and government agencies.

DMVA has operated as a registered nonprofit organization for 20 years.

SANDAG bluffs stabilization activities: Aug. 8-14

In a weekly notice to the City of Del Mar, SANDAG covers planned construction activities for the Del Mar Bluffs 5 Stabilization Project. 

This week, a separate notice advises nearby residents of planned overnight work Aug. 10-11 along the railway between 11th and 12th streets.

Tuesday: Klezmer Music & Beyond at library

The Friends of the Del Mar Library are hosting a performance of Klezmer music by Yale Strom and vocalist Elizabeth Schwartz from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the library at 1309 Camino Del Mar.

Strom and Schwartz will play a blend of Klezmer, Romani, Balkan and Sephardic melodies.
