Lifeguard represents Del Mar on trip to New Zealand

During a meeting of the California Surf Lifesaving Association on Thursday, Del Mar Lifeguard Aidan Goodman recounted his recent adventures in New Zealand. His presentation covered how his Kiwi counterparts approach lifeguarding, the equipment they use and the lessons he learned. Aidan is the first Del Mar lifeguard to have participated in the exchange program between CSLSA and lifeguarding agencies in New Zealand, which has been in place since 1969. Great job, Aidan!
