Opportunity to Serve on the City's Arts Advisory Committee and Finance Committee

The City of Del Mar is recruiting for volunteers to serve on the City's Arts Advisory Committee and Finance Committee. For more information, please visit:

Arts Advisory Committee: one (1) voting member, at-large vacancy (must be resident); and one (1) voting member, business owner vacancy.
Finance Committee: two (2) voting member vacancies.

The deadline to apply is Friday, June 18, 2021, at 4:30 pm.

About the Arts Advisory Committee

The Arts Advisory Committee’s mission and purpose is to review, commission, consign and/or recommend for selection art for display in public and private places in accordance with the Public Art Policy. The committee was developed through interest expressed by the community to serve as a cultural enrichment to its residents and the community life along with enhancing the economic vitality of the City.

About the Finance Committee

The purpose of the Finance Committee is to review the annual budget and quarterly financial reports, to carry out financial and economic studies at the request of the City Council, to assist the City Manager and City staff as a Committee or as individuals in finance or economic related projects, and to review the annual audited financial statements and the City’s investment policy. The Committee also researches and reports on financial issues of interest to the City Council.
