November 2020 Election

On November 3, 2020, the City of Del Mar held a General Municipal Election in conjunction with the Statewide General Election. The City of Del Mar consolidates its elections with the County of San Diego, and coordinates the election process with the San Diego County Registrar of Voters (ROV).

During the election, Del Mar voters were asked to elect three (3) members of the City Council for a term of four (4) years each.  These seats are currently filled by Mayor Ellie Haviland and Councilmembers Dave Druker and Sherryl Parks.  No local Del Mar ballot measures were filed for this election.

The most up to date Election results can be found on the County Register of Voters (ROV) website at  Please keep in mind that the results are not yet final, and ballots are still being counted.  The County’s website will continue to be updated periodically with new information as it becomes available.  The County ROV has until December 3, 2020, to provide the City with final election results, which will be presented to the City Council for certification on December 7, 2020.
