The City's Animal Services are provided by the San Diego Humane Society (SDHS).
The SDHS general information phone number is (619) 299-7012 for all animal-related issues from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week.
For animal-related emergencies or animal cruelty, call their Law Enforcement dispatch at (619) 243-3466 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additionally, they can be reached at www.sdhumane.org.
Animals found or impounded in the city of Del Mar will be sheltered at the San Diego Humane Society shelters located at 2905 San Luis Rey, and 572 Airport Road, Oceanside.
