In the City’s continued effort to improve transparency and provide better access to information by the public, City staff has made improvements to the City website:  www.delmar.ca.us .  There is a now an item under the City Council Meetings Page on the City website called “UPCOMING Council Agenda Items – Future Meetings.”  Following this link takes the user to a new page that lists the Upcoming Agenda Items as they appear at the bottom of the City Council Agendas.  It also encourages viewers to sign up for the City’s automatic Email Newsletter to receive Council Agendas, News Alerts and other topics of interest.  This is a dynamic page and will be updated as new items are scheduled for future agendas.

In addition to the above improvement, staff also added a NEW column to the City Council Meetings Page where the individual meeting agendas and staff reports are listed.  The new column simply states the “Action Taken” by the City Council.  This new feature has been applied to the three most recent Council meetings, and will continue into the future.  Please note that Council Meeting Minutes, once officially approved by the Council, are a regular posting on this web page.  Besides the easy web access to Agendas, Minutes, Staff Reports, Actions Taken, and Upcoming Council Agenda Items-Future Meetings page, residents and other interested parties can WATCH a past Council meeting by choosing “Video on Demand” City Council Meeting Video Archive, and then choosing the meeting date.

These improvements are intended to enable our citizens to easily access public information.
