THE CITY OF DEL MAR

Resident Satisfaction Survey Results

7/12/2006

The resident satisfaction survey recently conducted by the City of Del Mar shows that residents are generally satisfied with Del Mar’s municipal services.

An independent research firm, Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin & Associates, was hired by the City to conduct the survey to assess resident opinion concerning municipal services and local issues in Del Mar.  Between the dates of May 20 -31, 2006, 245 residents participated in the telephone survey, which took a random representative sample of Del Mar’s population and extrapolated the information for the population as a whole.

Questions explored resident opinions on City programs and services, asked residents to rate their interaction with city staff and service providers, and provided residents with the opportunity to identify issues and problems that they would like to see the City address.  The complete survey results are provided below.
