THE CITY OF DEL MAR

A quieter Del Mar is moving closer – A plan to reduce Train noise

3/3/2011

On March 2, 2011, an Open House was conducted by the City’s Quiet Zone Committee and attended by residents seeking to find a solution to the train noise in Del Mar through implementation of a Wayside Horn at the railroad crossing in Del Mar.  Below is the Notice which was mailed to the residents in advance of the meeting which live within about 300 feet of the train tracks from 8th Street to 21st Street.  This Notice contains additional information about the proposed project.
