In an age of remote meetings brought by COVID-19, the City of Del Mar has launched a telephone system so speakers can call into City Council, Planning Commission and Design Review Board meetings and read their remarks aloud.
Speakers can testify during public oral communications or speak to specific agenda items. As with meetings held in person, comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker. Time donations will not be permitted.
To provide comment, callers must complete an on-line tele-comment form before noon on the day of the meeting. After receiving the request to speak, City staff will respond with an email that includes call-in information and other instructions.

To ensure timely delivery of written communications, correspondence must be received no later than noon on the day of the meeting. All communications will be included in the record.
