The San Diego County Fair has started its 27-day run with heavy traffic expected on 14 of those days. The most heavily-attended event of the region stretches from May 31 through July 4 with dark days on the first four Mondays and Tuesdays.

Traffic congestion is forecast for the weekend of June 8 and 9, which coincides with a Surf Cup soccer event at the San Diego Polo Fields on Via de la Valle at El Camino Real. More heavy traffic is expected June 21, 22 and 23 and again on June 28, 29 and 30, when more Surf Cup soccer is scheduled. Traffic delays return to the forecast for July 2, 3 and 4.
